It’s time to do a bit of research on WordPress MultiSite – from what I gather it allows you to run multiple websites (based on either subdomains or subdirectories) from a single install of WordPress, kind of like one main site with satellite sites attached.
Makes me think of the example of Realtors – there is often one main site for the company, say ReMax for example, and then each realtor has their own mini-site that still has the look and feel of the main company but has personalized information that pertain to the individual realtor.
Do I have it right? I’d love to hear from folks who have used MultiSite in the past and whether it worked or not for their particular situation…
