Timely Events Calendar

One of the most versatile event calendars that I’ve worked with is Timely, hands down.

With Timely, you can:

• connect your calendar with other calendars
• create recurring events
• add images/links/text to any event
• choose from a variety of display settings
• etc. etc.

 
There is a free version of course, but if there are more features you’re looking for such as ticketing, auto-sharing, or extra filters, there are a few different paid versions available as well.

All in all, I would definitely recommend Timely.
