If you’ve installed Woocommerce on your WordPress site, you may have noticed that your urls now have an extra v=xxxx string at the end of them. This is actually a feature of Woocommerce and it helps to calculate taxes and shipping, but if you don’t need that here’s how to remove it:

First you need to login to your WordPress admin area and head over to the WooCommerce » Settings page.

Under the General tab, you need to scroll down to ‘Default customer location’ option, and all you need to do is change it to either ‘No location by default’ or ‘Shop base address’ and Save your changes.

Make sure you clear your browser cache to ensure you’re looking at the updated version and when you check your website you’ll see that those extra strings are no longer showing on your urls.

Super easy!
