I’ve just seen a really cool idea for building your list – instead of just a plain old opt-in page, why not give a short and relevant quiz for your prospect to fill out? That way they can have fun and get signed up for your newsletter/ezine at the same time. As long as your quiz is indeed relevant to your business and not like something you’d see on a general social media site (like “Find out which Twilight character you would be”), I think it’s a good idea. And, you can even find out some relevant info about the folks that are joining your list.
I’ve only started looking into which programs will allow me to not only collect the input answers, but tally them up and show the person taking the quiz what their results are. I’d love to hear any suggestions – which program have you used?
