I’ve decided that in case I win a trip to Scotland (once you become a Laird, Lord or Lady you can enter the contest) I must make sure that I am worthy!
Here’s my plan:
1. Learn stuff about Scotland
2. Learn stuff about my MacGregor heritage
3. Learn some Gaelic
4. Figure out how to be a Lady
I know that my Dad has already done a bit a research years ago, and managed to trace our ancestors back to the ones that first arrived in Canada, so I’m going to ask him some more about that and perhaps I can take it even further.
And, I’ve already started on my quest towards Lady-ness, we’ll see how that evolves.
As far as the Gaelic goes it might be a bit more tricky, I was hoping that it was available through the Rosetta Stone language lessons but no such luck. Never fear though, I’m determined to learn at least a little bit!

Hi Luv…..yes you are definitely a Lady very classy in my books….the ancestors by the way came over to Prince Edward Island in 1867 and lived at Summerset House there.
They also came from Perthshire Scotland and the name of the gentleman that came was none other than Reverand William MacGregor.
I’ll send more later to you…it kind of makes me want to buy some old land too!
