I’ve just recently upgraded to the new Lion operating system and right off the bat I noticed a couple of really annoying changes, one of those being the Library file is now hidden.
So, for those of you who know your way around your Mac and would like to have your Library folder back, please and thank you, here’s how you do it:
(by the way this method makes the Library folder permanently visible)
- Launch Terminal from Mac HD –> Applications –> Utilities
- Type the following command in the Terminal and hit Return: chflags nohidden ~/Library
- If you get asked for the admin password go ahead and enter it
Voila!
