I’ve got a couple of contact lists in various places and over time the two now completely overlap. One was in the email client Thunderbird and the other was in Gmail. Every time someone was added or deleted in one I’d have to update the other, it was getting silly and time consuming.
So I’ve discovered there is an Add-on for Thunderbird called Google Contacts that sycs contacts with a Google account – Hooray! And it syncs in both directions – Hip Hip Hooray!
It was super easy to install and just like that I’ve got the two talking to each other. Now anytime I add or delete a contact from either Thunderbird or Gmail it automatically updates in the other. Sweet!
