I recently did something that I haven’t done for a while – I had the opportunity to dance on stage. Yes, in public.
I know, big whoopdeedoo, I’ve done that a thousand times, what’s the big deal? Well I’ve never done dancing quite like this, and it has been a couple of years since I’ve done any kind of public performance at all.
As expected I was totally fine leading up to it all, then I was nervous for about 10 minutes or so leading up to my first performance, then I had a fabulous time on stage, and by the time the second one came around at the very end of the show I was totally into it and having a rip-roaring time!
I am so glad that I didn’t jam out at the very start of it all. I almost talked myself out of it before any of it actually started back in the beginning of January! Luckily I ignored myself and had a chance to stretch my comfort zone, I’m so glad.
Now I’m back to being the stage hog I was before – when’s the next show?!?!? I’m in!!!
